We have been presenting the best in stand up comedy each month in the Chess Suite at Chesham United FC since August 2006.
Comedy nights are promoted by Chesham United Supporters' Trust, in conjunction with Mirth Control Comedy Clubs, and we aim to bring you both established acts and the very best new up and coming comedians.

Shows are normally on the 3rd Friday of each month though we are moving to every two months during the summer.

Our headline act, OWEN O'NEILL, made his TV debut on Saturday Live in 1985 and has since performed on numerous TV shows including his own TV Stand-up special for the BBC. As a stand-up he has performed Worldwide, taking in Hong Kong, China, Melbourne, Frankfurt, Toronto, Los Angeles, Singapore and Lisbon. He is a regular on the London Comedy circuit, a Perrier Award nominee at Edinburgh Festival, and has performed on The David Letterman and Conan O'Brien shows.
June's opening act is VINCE ATTA who, in October 2006, won the much-coveted 'City Life Comedian Of The Year' Award. Previous recipients include Peter Kay, Caroline Aherne and Chris Addison.

JAY SODAGAR has been on the circuit since reaching the semi finals of the BBC's New Comedy Awards back in 2000. As well as performing at the major London venues he has also toured the US and Canada with with his comedy improvisation group.
Our compere for the evening, LENNY PETERS, has appeared in a number of TV sit coms including LIFE AS WE KNOW IT with Richard Wilson (BBC)& FIFTEEN STORIES HIGH with Sean Lock (BBC). As a stand up Lenny has appeared at many clubs including The Comedy Store, Up The Creek, The Comedy Cafe, and The Glee Club, whilst his 2007 Edinburgh 'Comedy Cocktail' show was a sell out success.
