Live music and stand up comedy at The Chess Suite, Chesham United FC
We have been presenting the best in stand up comedy each month in the Chess Suite at Chesham United FC since August 2006.
Comedy nights are promoted by Chesham United Supporters' Trust, in conjunction with Mirth Control Comedy Clubs, and we aim to bring you both established acts and the very best new up and coming comedians.

Our headliner is DAN EVANS. His TV and radio appearances include Brain Candy (BBC3 & 2), Channel 5 at The Store, Channel 5 Comedy Zone and the Radio 2 Stand Up Show. His writing credits include The Very World of Milton Jones (R4 - Sony Award Winner), Rory Bremner Who Else? (C4), The Eleven O'Clock Show (C4), The Live Floor Show (BBC 1), Revolver (BBC 1) and The Joan Rivers Position (C5).

Anecdotal, observational and refreshingly honest, GERRY K first hit the stage in 2003 and has raised the roof with laughter ever since. An energetic and likeable personality, he has performed across the UK and abroad at The Comedy Club, Jongleurs, The Comedy Store and many more top circuit venues.
JULIAN DEANE was the Comedy Cafe Best New Act of 2008 Winner and has also been a winner of The Comedy Store's King Gong.

Our MC for the evening is GEOFF WHITING. He has appeared at the Edinburgh Festival, on television and radio and at every notable comedy club in the UK. He is also an established TV warm up.

The best live music open mic and jam session around every Sunday evening in The Chess Suite. All musicians are welcome to come along - just bring your instruments, full PA and sound engineer provided.It's a welcoming venue run by musicians for musicians - a great place to rehearse, meet up with other musicians or to just listen.
