Comedy @ The Chess was founded in August 2006 and has been presenting stand up comedy almost every month since. We aim to bring you a hilarious selection of acts by booking the best comedians from the national and international stand up circuit. You will find the same acts playing popular clubs such as Jongleurs (now known as Famous for Comedy) and The Comedy Store, but we won’t be charging you £20 for tickets and £5 for a drink! In fact, we haven’t raised our ticket prices at all in 4 years. We hope you agree our show still remains excellent value for money and best of all, it’s right here in Chesham.

We have a tendency to get absolutely packed… which makes for a great atmosphere, but it means that if you do wish to be guaranteed seating then you must reserve your seats in advance. Only a limited number of tickets are available on the door, although we will always do our best to find a seat for you whenever possible.

Doors 7pm, Show from 8:30pm.

Please arrive before 8pm and allow enough time to visit the bar and take your seats!
