Presenting the best in stand up comedy on the 3rd Friday every month
We have been presenting the best in stand up comedy each month in the Chess Suite at Chesham United FC since August 2006.
Comedy nights are promoted by Chesham United Supporters' Trust, in conjunction with Mirth Control Comedy Clubs, and we aim to bring you both established acts and the very best new up and coming comedians.
Click the Previous Shows link for a full listing of the comics we have hosted.
Shows are normally on the 3rd Friday of each month though we are moving to every two months during the summer. Forthcoming comedy dates:

Once seen never forgotten, KEVIN McCARTHY is one of the biggest acts on the UK comedy circuit. With an ever changing act, and the ability to find humour in any subject, Kevin's cuddly personality and utterly relaxed stage persona puts the audience instantly at ease.
STAN STANLEY has become a firm favourite on the comedy circuit. In 2004 he was invited to perform in the prestigious 'Britcom Show' at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. His appearance was so successful that the festival extended his stay.
"Stan Stanley was the triumph of the night" - Chortle
PAUL T EYRES was so bored of middle-class values that he converted to Buddhism, only to win the title of world's rudest Buddhist. Paul breaks down barriers in way which is often challenging and frequently shocking — inspiring his audiences to laugh, gasp, then laugh some more!
LEE CANTERBURY, our MC for the night, was runner up in The Hackney Empire New Act of the year in 1998 and was a finalist in The Daily Telegraph open mic competition at Edinburgh in the same year. Lee took a six year break to travel around the globe. But has now returned to his stand up and is ready to take up from where he left off.
