Headline Act - TOJU

Kicking off his stand up career as a teenager, our headline act TOJU made a blistering start, debuting on television inside a year, on BBC 2's groundbreaking multi cultural sketch comedy, The Real McCoy. Peckham's finest has since racked up an impressive list of TV credits since this debut, including BBC 1's The Stand Up Show. A series of searing performances in front of Hackney Empire's notorious Phat Friday audiences led to a regular spot Get Up, Stand Up (Channel 4), where his weekly guest stand up spot stole the show from the show's core of sketches. Toju's uncompromising stand up has been a huge success and we look forward to welcoming him back to our club. The Guardian said, "Toju is one of the most invigorating young stand-ups to emerge from the new generation of black British comedy, and his uncompromising attitude is a welcome break from the safe conformism of most comics on the circuit."

Opening Act - CRAIG MURRAY

A personal favourite of ours and described as "Bloody funny" by Jo Brand, charming northerner CRAIG MURRAY is a talented and driven newcomer to the comedy circuit who is undoubtedly destined for greatness. For the past three years Craig has cut his comedy teeth as resident compre at the award-winning London club 'The Funny Side...of Covent Garden' where he has shared the stage with some of the very best comedy acts in the business including; Harry Hill, Stewart Lee and even Hollywood legend Robin Williams. An instant crowd pleaser, Murray's charismatic, mock-confrontational style makes him popular with audiences wherever he gigs. Not to be missed.

Middle Act - HANNAH WARMAN

Finalist of the Newbury New Act Competition 2009 and Brighton's Beachdown Festival Comedy Competition 2009, talented singer HANNAH WARMAN gigs throughout London and the UK taking everyday observations to a surreal and silly conclusion. Hannah has taken her show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and regularly appears on stage across London.

Compère - JAMES REDMOND

Our compère for the evening is slick and subtle JAMES REDMOND who entertains masterfully by delivering unexpected twists and turns throughout his set. Best known for his TV appearances, James has played John Abs Denham in Casualty (BBC 1) for the last 5 years. He has also starred in Hollyoaks (C4) as well as presenting CDUK (ITV 1) alongside Cat Deeley and once appeared as a guest on Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC 2). Since turning to stand up, James has already appeared at some of the biggest UK comedy clubs including The Comedy Store (London) and Rawhide (Liverpool) which is a testament to his natural skill on stage. We think you will enjoy his act enormously!
